Lithium ion batteries for laptop and mobile phones

Image
Lithium ion or Li-ion batteries provide lightweight, high energy density power sources for a variety of devices. To power larger devices such as electric cars, connecting many small batteries in a parallel circuit is more effective and more efficient than connecting a single large battery.   They have higher energy density  They have higher life cycle  USES Portable devices:                                                                                                           These include mobile phones and smartphones, laptops and tablets, digital cameras and camcorders, handheld game consoles and torches. Power tools:  Li-ion batteries are used in tools such as cordless drills, sanders, saws, and a variety of garden equipment including whipper-snippers and hedge trimmers. Electric vehicles:  Electric vehicle batteries are used in electric cars, hybrid vehicles, electric motorcycles and scooters, electric bicycles, personal transporters and advanced elect

5 Tips to maintain the battery life for electric vehicles

Avoid deep discharging Ensure that there is no deep discharging of batteries, If your battery discharge completely before recharging, it can take time off the overall life discharge. So always ensure the state of charge between 40-70 % capacity. Charge your battery periodically and balance Lithium-ion batteries generally last longer when they are charged and discharged more shallowly, rather than fully from 0 to 100 percent charge. Don't leave your battery sit at a 100% state of charge It is best to charge to around 80% rather than getting a full charge. Keep it cool Park the vehicle in the shade as lithium ion batteries are sensitive to heat. So try to park your vehicle in a cooler spot. Use timers to minimize the time spent at a high state of charge Careful timing of your charging schedule is also better for your batteries. Again, the idea is that lithium-ion batteries are most stable when they are about half charged, not too full and not too empty.

What is LiFePO4? - Kingbo Power Technology

LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) is a rechargeable battery which is specifically a lithium ion battery. Lithium technologies have become popular and valuable in powering electronic like laptops and cell phones. Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) is a new type of lithium solution which is non-combustible. It is safer and used in high power applications such as e-bikes, power tools, e-scooter, -boat etc. PERFORMANCE The selection of battery mainly depends on the performance of the battery and application. Also it have service life approximately 5 to 10 years longer.   VOLTAGE They have slightly different properties when compared to other lithium batteries. The minimum discharge voltage is 2.8V and the maximum charged voltage is 3.6V, have a bit lower voltage of about 3.2V to 3.3V. SAFETY AND STABILITY LiFePO4 batteries offer better safety and extremely stable. The most important advantage over other lithium batteries is thermal and chemical stability. And the sta
